West Yorkshire Spinners Signature

A new family-owned mill in the heart of England's historic spinning district, West Yorkshire Spinners was established to preserve the region’s rich history of textile manufacturing. With products spun in the Aire Valley, WYS has built a strong reputation for high-quality natural-fiber yarns and blends that are proving popular all over the world.

Signature is a 4-ply sock-weight yarn made using a blend of 75% wool that includes 35% Bluefaced Leicester for a luxurious feel. A twist of nylon (25%) adds strength, making it ideal for hard-wearing socks, or stylish shawls with fantastic drape and softness. Within the line, Signature Sparkle adds just a bit of shine for festive apparel and decor. WYS Signature has proudly won ‘Best Sock Yarn’ at the British Knitting and Crochet Awards for several years running.
