With all the craziness leading up to the holidays, this year our 2023 Cumberland Fiber Works 12 Days of Christmas Kit celebrates 12 days after Christmas. With luxurious hand-dyed fingering weight yarn on our Play base the projects are not just for Christmas. This year's floral-inspired colors can be worn year-round!
The 12 Days of Christmas is a traditional celebration from December 25 to the Feast of Epiphany (January 5th) that goes back almost 1800 years.
Our Christmas kit comes with 2 knit or 2 crochet patterns, 11 x 87-yard mini-skeins, and one full-skein of fabulous hand-dyed yarn. A fingering/sock weight base, "Play" is 85% superwash merino with 15% nylon with soft traditional ply.
The crochet option kit comes with 2 patterns, but you can also use your own favorite pattern.
The knit edition comes with Ravelry Coupon Codes for 2 patterns of your choice from Paper Daisy Creations. Lisa Ross designs knitting patterns that are easy to follow, fun to knit, and fabulous to wear! She loves to play with colors and textures, and she has many designs that use mini-skeins like the ones in your Christmas kit. Heather will provide a list of her suggestions, but be sure to explore. Lisa is a very talented designer and we hope this is only the first of many projects we can work on with her!
